You've Got To Have

Faith No More
By Mark Cantrell

Faith, contains
The faithful,
Like the iron bars of a cage,
Forged in the alloy
Of dogma and fear
To contain the Soul
And bind it tight from
Dawning insight.
Faith, in time,
Stifles the Soul, ‘til its light
Fails, and all is dark
In the iron bounds of
Ignorance,
Until snuffed at last
By a death
Premature of the flesh.
